Pumpkin, Chocolate and Walnut Bread

Who on earth would think Pumpkin and Chocolate together is a good idea for food? Pumpkin! Well, our supremo recipe creator Mirands from @clean_treats did and she is onto a winner! Give this a crack – you will love it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups GF oat flour

  • 1/2 cup almond meal

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée

  • 1 egg (use chia or flax egg to make this recipe vegan)

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup choc rocks

  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Pour into a lined baking tin.
  3. Sprinkle with extra choc chips, walnuts and pepitas.
  4. Bake at 180 for 45mins – 1hr (until a skewer comes out clean)
  5. Slice and smother in almond butter or freeze for a healthy snack!
