A Paleo way of eating is actually very easy! Especially when you have a Paleo Food List to guide you on your Paleo journey.
Which is what I’m providing you with today…hooray! You can download it by clicking the link below.
To me, Paleo is not a diet, it’s a way of life. All it is, is eating real food that people have eaten for thousands upon thousands of years. Back in the day, like a million years ago, people were eating a lot of the same foods we eat today: vegetables, fruit, eggs, meats, nuts and seeds. So my rule for food, if it’s been around for millions of years and it’s from nature, eat it! I do however draw the line at eating bark, spiders, animal poo, butterflies, leaves etc, please use your logic when it comes to eating from nature, although if logic tells you to eat leaves, then by all means be my guest (Disclaimer: make sure they’re not poisonous leaves first, you may want to ask Russell Coight for advise on this).
So what can you eat when you switch to a real food, paleo, way of life?
So, so, so, so, so, so, so much. There’s so much food to eat that I thought I’d create a Paleo food list, just for you! It’s a list you can print off and take with you when you go shopping…so easy!
Some people get confused when it comes to buying packaged products, like oils & sauces, etc. So in our Paleo Food List we’ve included everyday products you can grab from the supermarket that have the “Real Food/Paleo” tick of approval.
Now one last piece of advice:
When switching to a Paleo/Real Food way of eating, take your time. You don’t have to swap everything out all at once. All our lives we’ve been encouraged to drink milk, eat grains, cook in canola oil, buy fat-free (for more information on healthy fats click here)…we’ve been brain washed!!! A paleo way of life means, on a day-to-day basis, we generally don’t eat these foods, Paleo is after all, a grain, dairy and preservative free way of eating with ample amounts of good quality fats included.
When it comes to switching our diets, it truly is just as much about switching our mind-set as it is about switching our food. When we make small incremental changes, our brains have a way or reorganising their wiring so that our thinking patterns can support the actions we desire to make. Diet is a neurological process as well as a nutritional process. So, take just one step at a time, let your mind-set, your neurological wiring and your taste-buds adapt to the change. I always say:
Small incremental steps lead to monumental transformation!!!!

Love and adventure to you all.
